Simple & Elegant Desk

before

after

I really love this... was thinking about keeping it for one of my girls...  sheesh, I love furniture way too much... can't keep it all!

I painted the top & drawers in ASCP.... I mixed Antibes Green/Provence/ & Old White.  I love the color that emerged!  The base is painted in ASCP Pure White.  This desk needed new hardware to match its new look...  the hardware is a crystal purple with silver.

English Yellow Coffee Table

before

after

I was so excited to get my hands on Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in English Yellow!!  I just love how bright, cheerful, & funky this yellow is!!

This coffee table has a leather inlay & is vintage...  probably circa 1950-1960.  I love the way it turned out & hope you do, too!

Chunky Side Table

before

after

This sturdy side table needed to be jazzed up a little, so I painted it with ASCP Emperor's Silk & the drawer in Old White.  I also added new hardware to finish it off!

Bookshelf With Style

before

OK..... I love this bookshelf....  I say that about a lot of pieces, but I really LOVE this!  I even liked it before it was painted, but now it is even better in Annie Sloan's Antibes Green mixed with a little Old White.

Classy in Blue

before

after

This is a classic looking piece with great lines!  It looked great before, but adding Annie Sloan Chalk Paint over the original creamy white color was exactly what it needed to pop!  I mixed ASCP Provence with ASCP Pure White.

Little Red

before ~ notice the chewed up legs... yikes... some dog had a hay day with this little table

after

So......  I tried to fix the chewed up legs with wood putty... it worked (sort of)....  this piece isn't perfect, but I love it anyway!

I painted it with Annie Sloan's Chalk Paint in Emperor's Silk.  Love the spunky, new color!

Funky Blue Dresser

before

after

I wasn't quite sure what I wanted to do with this dresser right away.....  it has nice lines & some fun hardware.... so, I thought 2 colors might be the answer!  The base of the dresser was done in Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Provence & the drawers in ASCP Pure White.  I sprayed the hardware black & blotted off some of the black for a two toned look!

This piece is available for purchase & Eco Chic!

Cute Cabinet

before

after

I found this great little cabinet at a very cool coffee shop/consignment store in Napoleon, ND.  I got to work right away transforming the very dark piece into a fun, bright white!  This would be perfect as a doll closet or in a little girls room for jewelry or whatever treasures she may want to put in it!

Americana Side Table

before

after

I love this side table...  it is actually an old sewing table.  Love the look, love the hardware!  I started painting it Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Emperor's Silk, when I realized that leaving the front piece its original wood color would contrast nicely with the red color of Emperor's Silk.

This great accent piece can be found @ Eco Chic!

Perfect in White

before

after

These night stands needed a little jazzing up.... I painted them in ASCP Pure White, & then distressed them heavily, finishing with a coat of clear wax.  The hardware was spray painted in black & then I wiped a little of the black away to expose some of the original color underneath.

Really Rustic

before

the original top was in bad shape...  it had to go!

after

heavy distressing

Love the top ~ looks so rustic

You have to see this piece in person.  The pictures just don't quite do it justice!  The first layer of the top was chiseled off b/c it wasn't in good shape at all....  then my husband belt sanded it & stained it walnut to really bring out the wood variations.  I painted this in ASCP Old White, mixed with Barcelona Orange.  It is both clear & dark waxed.

My peanut is in a few of the pictures.... she's always looking for a photo opportunity!!

Surf's Up

before

after

I thought I should title this entry Surf's Up b/c my husband looked at this & said "it's cool, the top kind of looks like a surfboard".

This coffee table is awesome!  I love it & would keep it if I needed anymore furniture (which I don't)!

I painted the base in ASCP Provence.  My husband sanded the top really good & then stained it in walnut.  It turned out beautiful!
